SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Beth Kuehnel of East Alton, who
4passed away on June 25, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Beth Kuehnel was born in Equality to William
6T. and Myrtle Hannah (Martin) Finn on October 26, 1932; she
7married Leroy Kuehnel in Piggott, Arkansas on September 13,
81949; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Beth Kuehnel worked as Food Director for East
10Alton School District 13 for over 25 years, retiring in 1991;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Beth Kuehnel was a member of the Roxana
13Church of the Nazarene; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Mary Beth Kuehnel was preceded in death by her
15husband, Leroy; her parents; and her brothers, William E. and
16Donald Gene Finn; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Mary Beth Kuehnel is survived by her sons and
18daughters-in-law, Gregory G. and Ronna Kuehnel, and David Leroy
19and Linda Kuehnel; her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann and
20Earl Ziegler; her grandchildren and their spouses, Michelle

2and Kristin Tate, Christine and Jeff Gibson, Nathan and Amy

5great-grandchildren, Morgan, Gregory, Colten Eva, Jake, Joey,
6Hannah, Jordyn, Megan, Matthew, Mikayla, Sebastian, Jackson,
7and Grace; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Mary Beth Kuehnel, and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Mary Beth Kuehnel as an expression
15of our deepest sympathy.
