SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Raymond C. Greenberg of Alton, who passed
4away on May 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Greenberg was born in Kewanee to Peter R.
6and Wynona M. (Smith) Greenberg on December 16, 1933; he served
7in the United States Army and married Betty Elaine Hawkins in
8Alton on August 31, 1957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Raymond Greenberg was a machine adjuster with
10ProPellex for many years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Raymond Greenberg was a member of Brown Street
12Baptist Church in Alton; he was an avid bowler and a sports fan
13and a very proud grandfather; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Raymond Greenberg was preceded in death by his
15wife, Betty; his parents; and his sister, Marlene Greenberg;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Raymond Greenberg is survived by his two sons and
18their wives, Ray and Diane Greenberg and Joseph and Chris
19Greenberg; his daughter and her husband, Mildred and Mark
20Lanham; his ten grandchildren and their spouses, Andrea and

1Ryan Leach, Peter and Kayla Greenberg, Katelyn Greenberg, Chloe
2Greenberg, Anthony Lanham, Amanda Lanham, Elizabeth and Alan
3Barnett, Megan Lanham, Heather and Keith Gallup, and Nick and
4Autumn Greenberg; and his six great-grandchildren, Keigan
5Gallup, Isabella Greenberg, Haylea Greenberg, Calvin
6Greenberg, Zoie Greenberg, and Noah Greenberg; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Raymond C. Greenberg, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Raymond Greenberg as an expression
14of our deepest sympathy.
