SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Zachary Scott Hunter, who passed away on
4April 17, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter was born on August 31, 1999 in
6Alton; his parents were Scott Henry and Sara Michelle Hunter;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter attended St. Francis/Holy Ghost
9Catholic Schools in Jerseyville and was a junior at Marquette
10Catholic High School in Alton at the time of his passing; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter was a devoted Catholic who attended
12Catholic schools from start to finish and faithfully attended
13Mass every Sunday; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter was blessed with athletic ability
15and was an avid hockey, tennis, and soccer player,
16participating on numerous teams, and was known for his great
17hand/eye coordination and great intelligence on the field; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter was his dad's best friend; they did
19everything together, from playing pool, soccer, hockey,
20wrestling, watching movies, working on cars, and sharing family

1memories at the dinner table; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter was preceded in death by his
3paternal grandparents, Elmer A. and Doris J. Hunter, and his
4great-grandparents, Charles A. Groves and Henry H. and
5Josephine F. Bimes; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Zachary Hunter is survived by his parents; his
7sisters, Aubrey Faith Hunter and Sophie Eileen Hunter; his
8grandparents, William Louis, Jr. and Sue Finkes; his
9great-grandparents, William Finkes, Sr., Julia Finkes, and
10Dorothy Groves; and his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and
11friends; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
14family and friends, mourn the passing of Zachary Scott Hunter;
15and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Zachary Hunter as an expression of
18our sympathy.
