SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph W. Mancewicz, who passed away on
4February 26, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Mancewicz was born on December 29, 1942 in
6Litchfield; his parents were Joseph C. and Leona Pernicka; he
7married Alice Sievers on March 7, 1964 at St. Michael Catholic
8Church in Staunton; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Mancewicz retired as a State Trooper with
10the Illinois State Police after many years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Joseph Mancewicz was a member of St. Ambrose
12Catholic Church in Godfrey; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Joseph Mancewicz was preceded in death by his
14parents; his grandparents, William and Louise Hubert; his
15in-laws, Charles and Leona Sievers; and his brother-in-law,
16Rodney Cruthis; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Joseph Mancewicz is survived by his wife, Alice;
18his sons, Michael J. Mancewicz (fiancee, Nancy Hampton) and
19Mark A. (Lisa) Mancewicz; his grandchildren, Joseph C.
20Mancewicz, Jacob M. Mancewicz, Brooke D. Valenti, and Matthew

1C. Mancewicz; his sisters, Marie Walls, Julia Pernicka, and
2Barbara Jean Wisnasky; his brother, Richard Mancewicz, and his
3sisters-in-law, Leona Sievers and Evelyn Cruthis; therefore,
4be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph W. Mancewicz;
8and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Joseph Mancewicz as an expression of
11our sympathy.
