SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sally Ann Hoefert of Godfrey, who passed
4away on November 15, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sally Hoefert was born in Alton on November 6,
61930 to Phillip and Viola (nee Joehl) Kennedy; she graduated
7from Marquette Catholic High School and married Harold T.
8Hoefert on October 11, 1952 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in
9Alton; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Sally Hoefert was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
11Church in Alton and a member of St. Ann's Altar Society; she
12loved to play cards and was involved with numerous card clubs;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Sally Hoefert was preceded in death by her
15husband, Harold; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Sally Hoefert is survived by her 7 children, Phil
17(Kathy) Hoefert, Susan (Steve) Henderson, Cathy (Rick)
18Foelsch, Connie (Matt) Holden, Mary (Henry) Siemer, Mark (Dena)
19Hoefert, and Joanne "Bugsy" (Chris) Wickenhauser; her 17
20grandchildren, Katrina (Paul) Yemm, Phillip (Katie), Jennifer,
21Stephanie, Anne, Abby, John, Michael, and Daniel Hoefert,

1Laurie (Adam) Selkowitz, Matthew (Katelyn) Baahlmann, Jill
2Baahlmann (fiancé, Johnie Schoonover), Emily Holden, Hannah,
3Sarah and Audrey Siemer, and Dean Hoefert; her 3
4great-grandchildren, Christopher, Lily, and Noah; and her 2
5sisters-in-law, Voni Hoefert and Gerry Mitchell; therefore, be
6it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Sally Ann Hoefert, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Sally Hoefert as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
