SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of M. Sue Scheer, who passed away on July 6,
42015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was born on July 9, 1948 in Alton;
6her parents were Robert and Iva (nee Brown) Sims; she married
7Mike Scheer on December 28, 1968 in Alton; and
 
8    WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was a teacher at Sacred Heart in
9Florissant, Missouri for the past 10 years; she previously
10taught at St. Mary's School, St. Bernard's School, and the
11Alton School District; and
 
12    WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
13Church in Alton; she was also a member of the Pro-Life Group of
14St. Mary's, the Society of Our Mother of Peace, the
15Evangelization Group, and the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign; and
 
16    WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer is survived by her husband, Mike; 2
17daughters and their spouses, Megan and Steve Konstantopoulos
18and Sarah Scheer and Tim Tipsword; 5 grandchildren, Michael
19Scheer, Morgan Tipsword, Molly Tipsword, Mathew
20Konstantopoulos, and James Konstantopoulos; 4
21great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Luke, Scott, and Brooklynn; a

1brother and his spouse, Steven K. and Jacque Sims; and a
2brother-in-law, Robert Scheer; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
5family and friends, mourn the passing of M. Sue Scheer; and be
6it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of M. Sue Scheer as an expression of
9our sympathy.
