SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Quinn Kyles of Chicago, who passed away
4on December 22, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Quinn Kyles was born on December 2, 1991; he
6attended the LaSalle Language Academy and won 2 State titles in
7Illinois young author competitions; he attended the Whitney M.
8Young Magnet School, where he was active in the music and radio
9production studio and played the euphonium; he attended
10Columbia College, majoring in radio; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Quinn Kyles enjoyed the arts, music, television,
12and movies; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Quinn Kyles was preceded in death by his
14great-grandmother, Virginia "Momo" Jeter; his grandmothers,
15Joan Jeter and Gwen Kyles; his grandfather, Donald Cropper; his
16uncle, Joseph Jeter; and his beloved, Soulja; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Quinn Kyles is survived by his brother, Chad; his
18mother, Theresa Cropper; his dad, Dwain; his grandparents, Rev.
19Billy and Aurelia Kyles; his great-aunts, DyAnn Jeter, Rose
20(Chris) Hudson, Theresa Epster, and Betty Williams; his aunts,
21Joanie Jeter, Jackie Jeter, Annika Cropper, Melanie Vasquez,

1Lisa Storey, and Dwania, Drusheena, and Epernay Kyles; his
2uncles, Darrin "Saki" Monroe, Brian Monroe, Jerrold "Punkin"
3Rucker, Butch (Lynette) Hudson, and Devin Kyles; his cousins,
4brothers, and sisters, Nikki, Jennifer, Ashli, Ebony, Ramsey,
5Quincy, Joseph, Demetrius, Megan, Jordan, Jauron, Jaelyn,
6Aidan, and Amara; his many family members in South Bend,
7Indiana; and his besties, Max Singerman, Cameron Allen, Emily
8Gottlieb, Jordan Gipson, John Donachek, and Blake Pon;
9therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Quinn Kyles, and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
13friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Quinn Kyles as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
