SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Clariann Woolard of Joliet, who passed
4away on December 22, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard was born on November 14, 1927 in
6Raleigh; her parents were Joseph and Rella Rapp; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard was a retired teacher,
8principal, and Will County Assistant Superintendent of Schools
9for 12 years until her retirement in 1987; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard enjoyed spending time with her
11family and friends; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma
13(Rho Chapter), the Joliet Retired Teachers Association, and
14Grace United Methodist Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard was preceded in death by her
16husband, Charles; her parents; a brother, Joseph Rapp; and a
17sister, Pauline Harbison; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Clariann Woolard is survived by 3 children, Ellen
19(Don) Miller, Charles (Robbie) Woolard, and Paula (Thomas)

5great-grandchildren, Tyson, Nate, Taea, Connor, Brian, Brady,
6Nick, Jacob, Luke, Mia, Abby, Grace, Rocco, Vinny, Isabella,
7Cole, Noah, and Talia; and a brother-in-law, Guy Woolard;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Clariann Woolard; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Clariann Woolard as an expression of
15our sympathy.
