SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William "Bill" J. McClintock, who passed
4away on December 15, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William McClintock was born on May 11, 1955 in
6Alton; his parents were William E. and Ilse (nee Dahlen)
7McClintock; he married Cynthia K. Cribbet on July 6, 1974 in
8Kingsville, Texas; and
 
9    WHEREAS, William McClintock served his country as a member
10of the United States Navy; and
 
11    WHEREAS, William McClintock was employed as a laborer for
12the City of Alton Street Department for many years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, William McClintock was a member of the American
14Legion Post 354 in Alton and Teamsters Local 525; and
 
15    WHEREAS, William McClintock enjoyed gardening, fishing,
16and spending time with his family; and
 
17    WHEREAS, William McClintock is preceded in death by his
18father; a brother, Dennis J. McClintock; and a nephew, Frank
19Kuter; and

1    WHEREAS, William McClintock is survived by his wife,
2Cynthia; his mother; 2 children and their spouses, Elizabeth
3and Matthew Polak and Christen and Christina McClintock; 4
4grandchildren, Blake, Baylea, Stephanie, and Sydnie; a
5great-granddaughter, Rylie; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam
6and Mike Sherman; 5 nieces, Marcie Marlow, Jennifer Robbins,
7Sarah Goodman, Beth Baty, and Natalie Sherman; a sister-in-law
8and brother-in-law, Sherry and Larry Robbins; and a
9brother-in-law, Doug Cribbet; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of William "Bill" J.
13McClintock; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of William McClintock as an expression
16of our sympathy.
