HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia
4Ann Stevens of Herrin, who passed away on February 9, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Stevens was born in Johnston City to Pete
6and Anna (nee Stefan) Pasquino on July 7, 1934; she was united
7in marriage with Billy Dean Stevens at St. Paul's Catholic
8Church in Johnston City on December 31, 1960; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Patricia Stevens formerly worked as a secretary
10for WJPF Radio Station in Herrin and part time for the Butcher
11Union office in Johnston City; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Patricia Stevens was a member of Our Lady of Mount
13Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and formerly attended St.
14Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Patricia Stevens was preceded in death by her
16husband, Billy; her parents; and her sister-in-law and 2
17brothers-in-law, Wanda and Ted Martin, and Wayne Gibbens; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Patricia Stevens is survived by her 2 daughters
19and a son-in-law, Lynn Steh and Lori and Danny Beers; her 3
20grandchildren, Wesley J. Steh, Adra "Addie" Rash and her

1husband, Ryan, and Megan Dawes; her 2 great-grandchildren,
2Aubrey Rash and Eli Rash; a great-grandchild due in August of
32016; her 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Catherine and Henry
4Moore, and Chris Pasquino and her friend, Chris Kondoudis; her
5brother-in-law and sister-in-law, the Rev. Larry and Maurene
6Stevens; her sister-in-law, Sharon Gibbens; and several nieces
7and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
9NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
10mourn the passing of Patricia Ann Stevens, and extend our
11sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
12and loved her; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Patricia Stevens as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
