HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to congratulate Tammi Kestel on the
4occasion of her retirement from the Illinois State Police
5Bureau of Identification after 35 years of service; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Tammi Kestel started her career with the Illinois
7State Police Bureau of Identification on March 9, 1981 as a
8Data Input Operator; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Tammi Kestel was promoted to Office Administrator
103 on April 16, 1989, to Office Administrator 4 on March 16,
111990, to Executive I on February 1, 1993, to Executive 2 on
12September 16, 1994, to Public Service Administrator on February
131, 2000, and to Senior Public Service Administrator on August
141, 2001; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Tammi Kestel has been a sought after subject
16matter expert on the Criminal Identification Act, the Uniform
17Conviction Information Act, various statutory background
18checks, and the expungement and sealing of records; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tammi Kestel is retiring as the Assistant Bureau
20Chief of the Illinois State Police's Bureau of Identification
21in Joliet and her retirement will be a loss to the Illinois

1State Police and citizens of the State of Illinois; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Tammi Kestel and her husband, Donald Kestel, have
34 children, Adam Kestel, Tracy Ramarcsuk, Tammy Platek, and
4Tana Kestel; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
6NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
7congratulate Tammi Kestel on her retirement from the Illinois
8State Police Bureau of Identification after 35 years and we
9wish her the best in all her future endeavors; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to Tammi Kestel as an expression of our esteem and
13respect.
