HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4Queen of All Saints junior varsity football team on the
5occasion of winning the 2014 Northwest Catholic Conference
6championship; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The Queen of All Saints junior varsity football
8team defeated St. Juliana 31-12 to secure victory at the
9Northwest Catholic Conference championship game at Notre Dame
10High School; the team finished with a spectacular 5-3 record;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, With this victory, the Queen of All Saints junior
13varsity football team won the school's first junior varsity
14football title since 2011; and
 
15    WHEREAS, The members of the Queen of All Saints junior
16varsity football team are Lael Root, Nikolas Beltz, Jack
17Kirchner, Evan Halkitis, Sammy Matthews, Patrick Colgan,
18Patrick Proesel, Jake Schmucker, Quentin Huening, Joseph
19Delia, Nicholas Vlasic, Tony Gatti, Joey Schiavone, Peter
20Lauer, Paul Hayes, Riley Reotutar, Charles Tierney, Nicholas
21Lovcik, Matthew Gavric, Joseph Savaiano, Colin Randazzo, Jack
22O'Donnell, Daniel Herbert, Liam McCarthy, Patrick Kuhn, Colin

1Ryan, Jack Brady, Emmett Jeske, Billy Litsos, Thomas Reardon,
2Jack Carroll, Mark Mulhern, Carson Berg, Patrick San Roman, and
3Liam Ryan; the team's coaches are Larry Schultz, Tim Lynch,
4Jeff Fratterigo, Tom Reardon, Tim Canning, Bob Tierney, Tom
5Mulhern, and Tony Randazzo; and
 
6    WHEREAS, The Queen of All Saints junior varsity football
7team was wholeheartedly supported by many members of the
8community, including Monsignor John Pollard, Principal Peter
9Tantillo, Team Manager Gina Delia, Video Chief Mike McCarthy,
10the junior varsity cheerleaders, and the Queen of All Saints
11Athletic Department, led by James Janesku and Karen Proesel;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, The members of the Queen of All Saints junior
14varsity football team serve as models of hard work, integrity,
15and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois;
16therefore, be it
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19congratulate the members of the Queen of All Saints junior
20varsity football team on the occasion of winning the 2014
21Northwest Catholic Conference championship and wish them
22continued success and happiness in the future; and be it
