AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4554

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4554 by deleting
3line 4 on page 1 through line 4 on page 2; and
 
4on page 2, line 5, by replacing "10" with "5"; and
 
5on page 28, line 2, after the period, by inserting "If, at any
6time, the Secretary of the United States Department of Health
7and Human Services, or its successor agency, promulgates rules
8or regulations to be published in the Federal Register or
9publishes a comment in the Federal Register or issues an
10opinion, guidance, or other action that would require the
11State, pursuant to any provision of the Patient Protection and
12Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), including, but not
13limited to, 42 U.S.C. 18031(d)(3)(B) or any successor
14provision, to defray the cost of any coverage outlined in this
15paragraph, then this paragraph is inoperative with respect to
16all coverage outlined in this paragraph other than that

1authorized under Section 1902 of the Social Security Act, 42
2U.S.C. 1396a, and the State shall not assume any obligation for
3the cost of the coverage set forth in this paragraph."; and
 
4on page 54, line 7, after the period, by inserting "If, at any
