SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 1. In addition to other amounts appropriated, the amount of $14,750,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Presidential Library and Museum Fund to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum for operational expenses, awards, grants and permanent improvements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum for the objects and purposes hereinafter named:
Payable from the Illinois Historic Sites Fund:
For research projects associated
with Abraham Lincoln........................... $250,000
For microfilming Illinois newspapers
and manuscripts and performing
genealogical research.......................... $175,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2015.
