SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Timothy "Tim" Charles Kuhfuss, formerly
4of Oak Park, who passed away on July 11, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was born in Chicago on June 28, 1961;
6he graduated from Ascension Catholic School and Fenwick High
7School in Oak Park; he earned his Bachelor of Science from
8Marquette University, his Master of Science from Johns Hopkins
9University, and his Master of Business Administration from the
10University of Chicago; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was the Director of Research Support
12for Information Technology at the University of Wyoming and
13past-CIO of Information Technology at Argonne National
14Laboratory in Lemont; he started his career at the National
15Institutes for Health in Bethesda, Maryland; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was an avid outdoorsman, sports
17enthusiast, and beer connoisseur; he had a passion for coaching
18basketball, cooking, sci-fi, technology, and fly fishing; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss leaves behind his wife of 30 years,
20Colette "CeCe"; his daughter, Shannon; his son, Hunter; his
21parents, Chuck and Roberta (nee Stack) Kuhfuss; and his

1sisters, Linda (Tim) Keelan and Katie (Charles) Porretta; he
2was the son-in-law of Dan and Marilyn DeWitt; the
3brother-in-law of Michael (Susan) DeWitt, Phil DeWitt, and
4Renee (Jeff) Bisbee; the godfather of Jill Porretta and Rory
5Keelan; and the uncle of 13 nieces and nephews; therefore, be
6it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Timothy "Tim" Charles Kuhfuss, and extend our sincere
10condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
11him; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Tim Kuhfuss as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
