SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sandra "Sandy" K. Terlikowski of
4Woodstock, who passed away on July 10, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was born in Woodstock on
6February 2, 1953 to Joyce and Glen Fringer; she attended
7Woodstock schools, and married Norbert Daniel Terlikowski
8"Uncle Dan"; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski and her husband opened Uncle
10Dan's Restaurant on the Woodstock Square, which remained a
11popular mainstay of the square from 1977 to 1994; its motto,
12"N.H.A.B.D." (Never Had a Bad Day), was reflective in the bond
13that formed between Sandy, her employees, and the customers - a
14bond which lasted long after the restaurant closed; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was an avid reader and an
16enthusiastic traveler, traveling to Europe and Jamaica; she
17enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time with
18her nieces and nephews; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was preceded in death by her
20husband Dan; mother Joyce; brother Jerry Fringer;
21sister-in-law Sandy Fringer; and her adored dogs, Inky and Max;

2    WHEREAS, Sandy Terlikowski is survived by her father Glen;
3sister Cindy (Chris); brother Ron; sister-in-law Luanne
4Fringer; step-children Dan, Diane, and Jack; and nieces and
5nephews Megan, Jenelle, Kevin, Patrick, Nathaniel, and Josh;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Sandra "Sandy" K. Terlikowski, and extend our sincere
10condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
11her; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Sandra Terlikowski as an expression
14of our deepest sympathy.
