SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles A. Ullrich of Bristol, Wisconsin,
4who passed away on February 14, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Ullrich was born on March 19, 1938 in
6Waukegan to Otto "Hub" and Josephine (nee Kische) Ullrich; he
7grew up in the Diamond Lake area of Mundelein; he attended
8Loras College and earned his law degree from Marquette
9University in 1963; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Charles Ullrich worked as a Lake County Assistant
11States Attorney before joining the law firm of John Green &
12Associates until his retirement; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Charles Ullrich was a dedicated fan of Marquette
14University basketball and the Chicago Bulls; he enjoyed playing
15racquetball, spending winters in the Florida Keys, and working
16outdoors at his home; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Charles Ullrich was preceded in death by his
18parents; sister, Mary Ann Starkey; and brother, James; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Charles Ullrich is survived by his wife, Barbara
20(nee Yopp); sisters, Grace VanLanduyt, Rose Kinnebrew, and

1Margaret (Marvin) Kiefer; and numerous nieces and nephews;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Charles A. Ullrich, and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Charles Ullrich as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
