| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Doris L. Andrews of Wonder Lake, formerly |
| 4 | | of Harvard, who passed away on January 4, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Doris Andrews was born on June 5, 1941 in Norris |
| 6 | | City; her parents were John W. and Marie (nee Smith) Walters; |
| 7 | | she married Charles Maynard on July 7, 1959; they later |
| 8 | | divorced; on October 28, 1972, she married James A. Andrews, |
| 9 | | Sr. in Woodstock; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Doris Andrews worked as a Certified Nursing |
| 11 | | Assistant for Valley Hi Nursing Home and Harvard Retirement |
| 12 | | Home; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Doris Andrews enjoyed spending time with her |
| 14 | | family and friends and playing bingo; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Doris Andrews was preceded in death by her |
| 16 | | husband, James; her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Ron) |
| 17 | | Harrison; her brother, Donald Walters; her sister-in-law, Dee |
| 18 | | Walters; her sister, Lynda; her daughter, Tammy Jo Maynard; and |
| 19 | | her son, Wayne Andrews; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Doris Andrews is survived by her children, John |

| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her |
| 15 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Doris L. Andrews; and |
| 16 | | be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Doris Andrews as an expression of |
| 19 | | our sympathy.
