SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Diana Jean Pecaro of Libertyville and
4Naples, Florida, who passed away on January 27, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was born on January 10, 1943 in
6Waukegan; her parents were Sylvester and Stephanie Welker; she
7was a seasonal resident of Naples, Florida since 1980 and also
8lived in Libertyville; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro attended Marquette University and
10graduated as a dental hygienist; she subsequently worked for
11her family's dental practice for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was very involved in Catholic
13Charities; she was also a member of Collier's Reserve Country
14Club and the Old Collier Golf Club in Naples; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro enjoyed golf, classical music,
16playing the oboe, traveling, and spending time with her family,
17grandchildren, and close friends; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was preceded in death by her parents
19and her brother, Rodger Welker; and

1    WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro is survived by her beloved husband of
246 years, Bruce L. Pecaro; her loving children, Highwood Mayor
3Charles (Jessica) Pecaro, Victoria (Ron) Alberts, Benjamin
4(Maria) Pecaro, Daniel (Kelly) Pecaro, and Nicole Pecaro; her
5grandchildren, Alexandra, Frankie, Anthony, Joey, Adrianna,
6Stefani, Alissa, Leni, and Dominic; and her many loving nieces
7and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10her family and friends, the passing of Diana Jean Pecaro; and
11be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Diana Pecaro as an expression of our
14sympathy.
