HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, Anne Marrin has served as City Administrator for
3the City of Prospect Heights since 2010; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin oversaw Prospect Heights' recovery
5from a severe fiscal crisis and worked tirelessly to put the
6City on a path leading to the fiscal soundness that the City
7now enjoys; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin represented the City of Prospect
9Heights through her service on the Northwest Municipal
10Conference Board of Directors, the Illinois City/County
11Management System, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook
12County Board of Directors, the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid
13Network Board of Directors, the Harper College Advisory Board,
14the Prospect Heights Tourism Board, and the Prospect Heights
15Emergency Operations Planning Committee; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin played a vital role in the
17reestablishment of the Prospect Heights Police Department and
18the re-hiring of laid-off police officers; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin was recognized throughout the
20northwest suburban area as one of the key individuals leading
21the positive progress that has taken place in Prospect Heights;

2    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin served and supported both the City
3Council and the Mayor of Prospect Heights during her tenure,
4performing her duties in an outstanding manner, and made
5significant contributions to the betterment of life for the
6citizens of Prospect Heights; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Ms. Marrin will be leaving her job as Prospect
8Heights City Administrator to take on a new role as Village
9Administrator for the Village of Fox Lake; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
11NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we honor Anne Marrin for her dedicated and committed years of
13service as City Administrator for the City of Prospect Heights;
14and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to Anne Marrin as a symbol of our esteem and respect
17for all of her accomplishments while serving as the City
18Administrator of Prospect Heights.
