SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joyce J. Webber of Alton, who passed away
4on December 5, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born December 3, 1928, in Alton, the
6daughter of William Chester and Lottie Bell (Joyner) Tidwell;
7she married John W. "Jack" Webber at Cherry Street Baptist
8Church in Alton on April 6, 1957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, She received an associate of art degree from Lewis
10and Clark Community College in 1985; she was a lover of music
11and art and played a mean jazz piano for many years with the
12Lewis and Clark College Jazz Band; she was also a lover of
13bargain shopping; and
 
14    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack;
15her parents; and her nephew, Mark Andrews; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Joyce Webber is survived by her daughter, Julie
17Webber; her son and daughter-in-law, William "Bubba" and Donna
18Webber; her grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie and Jennifer
19Crutchley, Jason and Christina Crutchley, and Anna Darr; her
20great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kara Crutchley and Nathan
21Crutchley; her sisters, Ruth Leamon-DaGue and Ann Nietzke; her

1nieces, Cathi Edler, Deanna Baird, Patty Leamon, and Nanette
2Good; and her nephew, Jack Leamon; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5her family and friends, the passing of Joyce Webber; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Joyce Webber as a symbol of our
9sincere sympathy.
