SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lance R. Mallon, who passed away on
4November 11, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lance Mallon was born on February 22, 1949, in
6Chicago; he was the son of Robert J. and Grace (Thurn) Mallon;
7he married Jeanette Mangano on September 14, 1974, in Chicago;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lance Mallon was an attorney with a law office in
10Wood River; he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in
11Edwardsville and the Madison County Bar Association; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Lance Mallon had a great love for photography,
13music, and art; his art work was displayed at numerous
14locations throughout the Metro East; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Lance Mallon is survived by his loving wife; his
16sons, Mark Robert and Matthew Grant Mallon; his daughters,
17Robyn Jennifer Mallon and Melissa Lynn Mallon; his brother,
18Robert T. Mallon and his wife, Roberta; and his sister, Gayle
19McGuire and her husband, Patrick; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
2his family and friends, the passing of Lance R. Mallon; and be
3it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Lance Mallon as an expression of our
6sympathy.
