SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald "Pup" Dean Berg of Laura, who
4passed away on November 7, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was born on April 19, 1963, in Peoria;
6he was the beloved son of Donald E. and Sylvia Childress Berg;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a graduate of Wyoming High School
9and Black Hawk Junior College; he served his country with pride
10and distinction for 5 years as a military policeman in the
11United States Army; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a member of the Stark County
13Congregational Church; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a devoted father who enjoyed
15spending time with his children, watching movies and NASCAR,
16and going to baseball games; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was preceded in death by his father
18and his nephew, Nathan Torbert; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ronald Berg is survived by his children, Levi,

1Lucas, and Kaylee; his mother; his sisters, Becky (Tim)
2Williams and Kathy (Dale) Markham; and his nieces, Dedre
3(Lonny) Dennison and Andrea and Chelsea Markham; therefore, be
4it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
7his family and friends, the passing of Ronald "Pup" Dean Berg;
8and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Ronald Berg as an expression of our
11sympathy.
