SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marion R. "Manny" Quiller of Hamburg, who
4passed away on September 10, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born February 2, 1930, in Hamburg, the son
6of Ray and Elsie (Long) Quiller; and
 
7    WHEREAS, He married Carmita M. (Merida) Quiller May 14,
81949, in Pittsfield; he was the owner and operator of Quiller's
9Outboard and Kawasaki Sales in Hamburg for over 55 years; he
10was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kampsville and a
11sponsor of Ducks Unlimited; and
 
12    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; his son,
13David Quiller; and his son-in-law, Tom Roth; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Marion Quiller is survived by his wife, Carmita;
15his two daughters, Terri J. (Bob) Lorsbach and Jill A. (Jay)
16Moss; his step-granddaughter, Jackie Baalman; his five
17grandchildren, Tim Roth, Elizabeth Roth, Jaela Hagen, Laura
18Longnecker, and Lindsey Perdun; his six great-grandchildren,
19Alli, Claire, Elaina, Tom, Conner, and Layla; and his sister,
20Dalene (Bill) Clendenny; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3his family and friends, the passing of Marion Quiller; and be
4it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Marion "Manny" Quiller as a symbol
7of our sincere sympathy.
