SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Barbara A. Kellogg, who passed away on
4October 3, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born in Alcoa, Tennessee, on April 22,
61945, the youngest daughter of Howell and Lillian Kellogg; she
7attended school in Alcoa, Joliet, and at Lockport High School;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, She confessed Christ at an early age and attended
10Greater Bible Way Apostolic Temple; she enjoyed listening to
11and singing church music; and
 
12    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her beloved parents,
13Howell and Lillian Kellogg; and her sisters, Mary Helen Gant
14and Johnnie Pearl Booker; and
 
15    WHEREAS, She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted
16sister, Susie Barber; her aunts, Reba Edwards and Edith Snapp;
17her special brother-in-law, James Gant, Sr.; her devoted
18cousin, Bobbie McClendon; her numerous cousins, nieces,
19nephews, and friends, especially her church family and Stryker
20Avenue family; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3her family and friends, the passing of Barbara Kellogg; and be
4it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Barbara A. Kellogg as a symbol of
7our sincere sympathy.
