SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Alexander Edward Tegtmeier of Millstadt,
4 who passed away on January 5, 2010; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Alexander Tegtmeier was born on June 11, 1932, in
6 Millstadt; his parents were Lorraine and Elvira, nee Nold,
7 Tegtmeier MD; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Alexander Tegtmeier retired from the Air National
9 Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel; he later retired from Hartford
10 Insurance Company as a claims adjuster; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Alexander Tegtmeier was a member of the Faith
12 Family Church in Shiloh, where he was very active in many
13 aspects of the church; he was a life member of Sister Cities in
14 Millstadt and Columbia and he was on the board of the Sister
15 Cities in Columbia; he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in
16 Belleville and the American Legion Post 502 in Millstadt; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Alexander Tegtmeier was preceded in death by his
18 parents; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Alexander Tegtmeier is survived by his wife,
20 Patricia Tegtmeier; his sons, Shaun McGuire and Scott McGuire;

1 his daughter, Sue Ann Tegtmeier; his grandchildren, Patrick
2 McGuire, Chloe McGuire, and Lilly McGuire; his brothers, Kurt
3 (Ann) Tegtmeier and Carl (Liz) Tegtmeier; his nieces and
4 nephews, Kurt Tegtmeier Jr., Phillip Tegtmeier, Lynn Danis,
5 Katie Curdiff, Chris Tegtmeier, and Jenny Tegtmeier; and his
6 many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 his family and friends, the passing of Alexander Edward
10 Tegtmeier; and be it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Alexander Tegtmeier as an expression
13 of our sympathy.
