SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of James William Wheeler of Newark, formerly
4 of Warrenville, who passed away on September 27, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, James William Wheeler was born August 31, 1935 in
6 Bear Creek, Wisconsin, the son of Ralph and Beatrice (Lehman)
7 Wheeler; he was united in marriage on January 5, 1963 in
8 Maywood, to the former Eloise Sefranek and they spent the next
9 46 happy years together; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Mr. Wheeler served his country proudly as a member
11 of the United States Army; and
 
12     WHEREAS, He was the owner and operator of Wheeler Home
13 Specialist Inc.; he was civic minded and was very active in
14 serving the communities where he lived and was a former member
15 of the Warrenville Town Council and the Warrenville Building &
16 Planning Commission in Warrenville; he was the President of the
17 Fern Dell Historical Association in Newark, a member of the Big
18 Grove Township Zoning Commission, was very active in raising
19 and selling miniature horses, and was the past President of the
20 Illinois Miniature Horse Owners Association; and
 
21     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and

1 Beatrice Wheeler; his son, Michael Wheeler; and his
2 brother-in-law, Lonnie Red; and
 
3     WHEREAS, James Wheeler is survived by his wife, Eloise
4 Wheeler; his children, Steven (Elizabeth) Wheeler and Jennifer
5 (Tim) DeBow; his grandsons, Michael and Danny DeBow; his
6 brothers, DuWayne (Dulcie) Wheeler and Larry Wheeler; his
7 sister, Colleen Red; his daughter-in-law, Michele Wheeler; as
8 well as several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
9     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11 his family and friends, the passing of James Wheeler; and be it
12 further
 
13     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14 presented to the family of James Wheeler as a symbol of our
15 sincere sympathy.
