SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Jeanne Walters of Alton, who passed away
4 on September 18, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born December 7, 1933, in St. Louis, the
6 daughter of Edward and Mildred (Brinkmann) Osseck; she married
7 Robert "Bob" Walters on May 19, 1956, at the St. Louis
8 Cathedral; and
 
9     WHEREAS, She prayed the rosary daily and went to daily Mass
10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church; she enjoyed animals, especially
11 her dogs and cats, and she loved to play and coach tennis,
12 gardening, and watching her children and grandchildren play
13 sports; and
 
14     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and her
15 brother, Edward Anthony Osseck; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Jeanne Walters is survived by her husband, Robert
17 Walters; her nine children and their spouses, Robert Walters
18 Jr., Jim and Angela Walters, Theresa and Dave Logan, Linda and
19 Justin Scheiter, Tom and Megan Walters, Michael and Polly Ann
20 Walters, Carolyn and Bob McCluskey, Mary Armstrong, and David
21 and Karen Walters; her 21 grandchildren, Jacob, Ellen, and

1 Jonathon Walters, Robert, Christopher, and Patrick Logan,
2 Sydney, Sam, and Jackson Scheiter, Matthew and Ryan Walters,
3 Hannah, Nathan, and Meredith Walters, Andrew and Daniel
4 McCluskey, Alex, Ethan, and Liesa Armstrong, and Valerie and
5 Nina Walters; and her sister, Marilyn Reilly; therefore, be it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8 her family and friends, the passing of Jeanne Walters; and be
9 it further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Jeanne Walters as a symbol of our
12 sincere sympathy.
