    AN ACT concerning regulation.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Managed Care Reform and Patient Rights Act 
5
is amended by changing Section 100 as follows:

    (215 ILCS 134/100)

    Sec. 100. Prohibition of waiver of rights. No health care 
8
plan or
contract shall contain any provision, policy, or

9
procedure that
that limits, restricts, or waives any of the 
10
rights set forth in this
Act.  Any such policy or procedure 
11
shall be void and unenforceable.
