AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 133

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 133, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No.
4 1, on page 1, by replacing lines 9 through 16 with the
5 following:
6     "(a) Within 90 days after the effective date of this
7 amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, each county that
8 maintains a website must post on the county's website the
9 following information:
10         (1) the name, office address, and telephone number of
11     any Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator employed
12     by a public entity within the boundaries of the county but
13     outside of any municipality; and
14         (2) the grievance procedures adopted by a public entity
15     within the boundaries of the county, but outside of any
16     municipality, to resolve complaints alleging a violation
17     of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
18     (b) If a county does not maintain a website, the county

1 must, within 90 days after the effective date of this
2 amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, and at least once
3 each year thereafter, publish in either a newspaper of general
4 circulation within the county or a newsletter published by the
5 county and mailed to county residents the information required
6 in items (1) and (2) of subsection (a).
7     (c) No home rule county may adopt posting or publication
8 requirements"; and
 
9 on page 2, by deleting lines 1 through 9; and
 
10 on page 2, by replacing lines 19 through 24 with the following:
11     "(a) Within 90 days after the effective date of this
12 amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, each township that
13 maintains a website must post on the township's website the
14 following information:
15         (1) the name, office address, and telephone number of
16     any Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator employed
17     by a public entity within the boundaries of the township
18     but outside of any municipality; and
19         (2) the grievance procedures adopted by a public entity
20     within the boundaries of the township, but outside of any
21     municipality, to resolve complaints alleging a violation
22     of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
23     (b) If a township does not maintain a website, the township
