    Amends the Naprapathic Practice Act. Makes a technical change in the Section concerning records of examinations and treatments.

1     AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Naprapathic Practice Act is amended by
5 changing Section 33 as follows:
 
6     (225 ILCS 63/33)
7     (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2013)
8     Sec. 33. Records of examinations and treatments. Every
9 licensed naprapath shall keep a record of naprapathic
10 examinations and and treatments made that shall include the
11 names of persons examined and treated. The record shall be
12 signed by the licensed naprapath and retained by him or her in
13 the office in which the professional service was rendered. The
14 records shall be preserved by the naprapath for a period of 3
15 years from the date on which the professional service was
16 rendered. A copy of the records shall be provided, upon written
17 request, to the person examined and treated or his or her
18 designee.
