SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $95,000 from the Illinois Route 66 Heritage Project Fund to the Secretary of State to provide grants for the development of tourism, education, preservation, and promotion of Route 66. Effective July 1, 2009.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $95,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Secretary of State from the Illinois Route 66 Heritage Project Fund to provide grants for the development of tourism, education, preservation, and promotion of Route 66.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
