Appropriates $7,537,500 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to the Illinois Food Bank Association (Feeding Illinois) to operate the Food for Families Program. Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $7,537,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to the Illinois Food Bank Association (Feeding Illinois) to operate the Food for Families Program, which provides quality, nutritious food to those in need throughout Illinois.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
