SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $1,300,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health to provide funding to address the problem of access to asthma treatment in minority populations by continuation of existing service and by establishing a mobile pilot program to treat children with asthma.  Effective July 1, 2009.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The sum of $1,300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health to provide funding to address the problem of access to asthma treatment in minority populations by continuation of existing service and by establishing a mobile pilot program to treat children with asthma.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
