SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the amount of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to establish new community schools and to maintain existing community schools in accordance with Public Act 96-746. Effective July 1, 2010.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to establish new community schools and to maintain existing community schools in accordance with Public Act 96-746.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2010.
