SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $17,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for the planning and construction of a suburban veterans’ nursing home that will provide at least 200 new beds. Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $17,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for the planning and construction of a suburban veterans’ nursing home that will provide at least 200 beds.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
