SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $100,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Environmental Protection Agency to support the alternate fuels rebate program. Provides that such funding shall support grants and rebates only for vehicles that operate on propane or natural gas. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

Section 5. The sum of $100,000, or so much of that amount as is necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Environmental Protection Agency to support an alternate fuels rebate program.  Such funding shall support grants and rebates only for vehicles that operate on propane or natural gas.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
