SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Anne Bohannon of East Peoria, who passed
4 away on November 13, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born April 8, 1941, in Vandalia, Missouri,
6 to Sanford L. Bryant and Goldie Mae Lawson; she was raised by
7 her foster parents, Roy and Mary Leonard in Vandalia; she
8 married Lindell Anderson on February 1, 1958, in Vandalia; he
9 died November 2, 1995, in Peoria; and she married Andre
10 Bohannon on May 31, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada; and
 
11     WHEREAS, She worked as a lunch monitor at Holy Family
12 Catholic School in Peoria, last working in September of this
13 year; she was a nurse's aide for Methodist Hospital and also
14 owned and operated Anne's Cleaning Unlimited in Peoria for many
15 years; Anne was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Peoria and
16 was attending Living Rock Assembly Church in Peoria Heights;
17 and
 
18     WHEREAS, Anne was preceded in death by her first husband
19 and her parents; and
 
20     WHEREAS, Anne Bohannon is survived by her husband, Andre;
21 her four children, Teresa Osborne, Tara (Enos) Taylor, Terence

1 (Flor) Anderson, and Todd (Kim) Anderson; her eleven
2 grandchildren, Tyrone C. Redd, Keith L. Redd, Lonni S. Kerr,
3 Autumn R. Osborne, Tiffany N. Taylor, Brittany M., and Jermaine
4 A. Taylor, LaTrice M. Anderson, Katrinna S. Anderson, T. Jalen
5 Anderson, and Kayla M. Anderson; her stepdaughter, Che (David)
6 Glover; her seven great-grandchildren; her numerous brothers
7 and sisters in Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews;
8 therefore, be it
 
9     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11 her family and friends, the passing of Anne Bohannon; and be it
12 further
 
13     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14 presented to the family of Anne Bohannon as a symbol of our
15 sincere sympathy.
