SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Eleanor E. Bouchard of Zion, who passed
4 away on September 21, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born on September 8, 1913 in Cleveland,
6 Wisconsin; she graduated from high school in Manitowoc,
7 Wisconsin and moved to Zion in her early 20's; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She was a librarian at the Zion Library and was a
9 devoted member of the Zion Faith Homes; and
 
10     WHEREAS, She and her husband, Clarence, were married for 65
11 years; and
 
12     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank
13 and Mary (nee Schuette) Maurer; her brothers, Edgar and Walter
14 Maurer; and her sisters, Viola Busse and Melitta Voss; her
15 husband, Clarence, followed her in death one week after her
16 passing; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Eleanor Bouchard is survived by her sons, James
18 Bouchard, John (Donna) Bouchard, and Paul (Penny) Bouchard; her
19 four grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Hruska, Melissa (Brian)
20 Hurlbut, Joshua Bouchard, and Christopher (Ashley) Bouchard;

1 and her great-granddaughter, Anna Hruska; therefore, be it
 
2     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4 her family and friends, the passing of Eleanor Bouchard; and be
5 it further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Eleanor Bouchard as a symbol of our
8 sincere sympathy.
