SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Vicky Jo Hiatt of Pekin, who passed away
4 on September 5, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born September 14, 1962, in Peoria to H.
6 Joseph and Beverly (Parker) Belcher; she married Lonnie R.
7 Hiatt on May 13, 1985, in Peoria; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Vicky worked for Bob Evans Restaurant for 22
9 years, first in Peoria and then at the East Peoria restaurant
10 in kitchen prep, retiring in January of 2008; and
 
11     WHEREAS, She enjoyed the outdoors and had a green thumb;
12 Vicky enjoyed landscaping, camping, hiking, and fishing; she
13 liked big trucks and was a rollercoaster fanatic; she was a
14 Scooby-Doo fan and enjoyed watching the Sci-Fi Channel; and
 
15     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and one
16 sister, Linda Belcher; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Vicky Jo Hiatt is survived by her husband, Lonnie;
18 her son, Dustin A. Belcher; her two daughters, Alecia Jo Hiatt
19 and Ashton R. Hiatt; and her two brothers, Gale Belcher and
20 Terry Belcher; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3 her family and friends, the passing of Vicky Jo Hiatt; and be
4 it further
 
5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to the family of Vicky Jo Hiatt as a symbol of our
7 sincere sympathy.
