SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 hear of the death of Victoria JoAnn Marsala of Granite City,
4 who passed away on September 1, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Victoria JoAnn Marsala was born on November 1,
6 1994, in Belleville; she was the daughter of Gary Michael and
7 Jennifer Lynne (Steel) Marsala; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Victoria JoAnn Marsala was a student of the
9 William M. BeDell Achievement and Resource Center in Wood River
10 and enjoyed her time at the school; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Victoria JoAnn Marsala was preceded in death by
12 her grandmothers, Mary Marsala and Mary Steel; and her
13 grandfather, James Steel; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Victoria JoAnn Marsala is survived by her parents;
15 her brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Jennifer Marsala Jr.
16 and Matthew and Cathy Marsala; her grandfather, Joseph G.
17 Marsala; her aunts and uncles, JoAnn and Rudolph Hahn, Brenda
18 and Mack Hager, James and Suzette Steel, Mary Marsala, Karen
19 and Leo Cook, Frank and Sherry Marsala, and Joseph Steel; her
20 nieces and nephews, Jacob, Nicholas, Samantha, and Angelica;
21 her special friend, Gosia Wojt; her other extended family

1 members; and her many dear friends; and
 
2     WHEREAS, Victoria JoAnn Marsala will be remembered by all
3 who knew and loved her as a person who fought against all
4 adversity in her life and as someone who always wore her
5 beautiful smile and brought the best out in anyone she came in
6 contact with; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 her family and friends, the passing of Victoria JoAnn Marsala;
10 and be it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Victoria JoAnn Marsala as an
13 expression of our sympathy.
