SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of H. Dwayne Waller of Thompsonville, who
4 passed away on June 20, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller was born on September 14, 1961,
6 in Benton; he was the son of Sherman Waller and Jane and Larry
7 Summers; and
 
8     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller graduated from Thompsonville
9 High School in 1979; he received his associate's degree in
10 science from John A. Logan College and his bachelor's degree
11 from Southern Illinois University; and
 
12     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller was the Water and Sewer
13 Superintendent of Thompsonville; he was a co-owner of K&D
14 Thompsonville Cafe; and
 
15     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller was a well-known area musician
16 who played the fiddle, guitar, and other instruments; he
17 enjoyed riding his motorcycle and racing; he was a Past Master
18 of the Thompsonville Masonic Lodge 749 AF & AM; and
 
19     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller was preceded in death by his
20 grandfathers, Herman Waller, Joe Hood, and Clyde Summers; his

1 grandmothers, Hazel (Gunter) Waller and Ivagene (Hood)
2 Perryman; and his aunt, Janice Smith; and
 
3     WHEREAS, H. Dwayne Waller is survived by his life partner
4 and long-time love of 21 years, Kim Kaytor; his parents; his
5 sisters, Gina Waller and Sherma Broy; his brother, Larry
6 Summers; his grandmother, Rose Summers; his uncle, Jack Smith;
7 and many nephews, nieces, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10 his family and friends, the passing of H. Dwayne Waller; and be
11 it further
 
12     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 presented to the family of H. Dwayne Waller as an expression of
14 our sympathy.
