SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Richard L. Jasker of Hinsdale, who passed
4 away on April 9, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was born January 30, 1931 in Oak
6 Park; he served in the United States Army during the Korean
7 War; he was a retired Willowbrook police sergeant and a former
8 Melrose Park police officer; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was a co-owner of Arlee Advertising
10 in Willowbrook; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Hinsdale,
12 the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion Post 250,
13 the Hinsdale VFW Post 2838, the Committee of 100 in Hinsdale,
14 and he was a Hinsdale committeeman for the DuPage County
15 Republicans; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Richard Jasker was a recipient of the Citizen of
17 the Year award from the village of Willowbrook; and he enjoyed
18 skiing, golfing, and volunteering; and
 
19     WHEREAS, The passing of Richard Jasker will be deeply felt
20 by all those who knew and loved him, especially by his wife,

1 Nikki Jasker (nee Hatzis); his sons, Richard Lee (Mari Ann)
2 Jasker II and James (Lorna) Sedares; his daughters, Patricia
3 (Robert) Masucci, Mary Beth (Anthony) Cella, and Marlene
4 (Daniel) Reed; his sisters, Charlotte (Oniell) Buonaiuto and
5 Barbara (Dwayn) Welke; his nine grandchildren; and his
6 great-grandchild; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 his family and friends, the passing of Richard L. Jasker; and
10 be it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Richard Jasker as a symbol of our
13 sympathy.
