SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express
3 their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth
4 E. McNeal of Freeman Spur, who passed away on January 2, 2007;
5 and
 
6     WHEREAS, Kenneth McNeal was retired and enjoyed hunting,
7 fishing and gambling; he retired after 30 years in the
8 furniture business; he enjoyed life to the fullest and wanted
9 to be remembered as happy and healthy by his friends and peers;
10 and
 
11     WHEREAS, Kenneth McNeal was born October 23, 1943 in
12 Zeigler, the son of Albert and Bonnie (Kelly) McNeal; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Kenneth McNeal was in the United States Army from
14 1965 to 1967 and served in Germany; he was also a member of the
15 American Legion and Eagles; he was a great dad and friend, a
16 relentless teacher of life lessons, and had a genuine love for
17 people; and
 
18     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents and
19 sister, Janice Vancie; and
 
20     WHEREAS, Kenneth E. McNeal is survived by his son, Kenny

1 McNeal II; his daughter and son-in-law, Kimmy (McNeal) Moody
2 and her husband, Gary; his ex-wife and best friend, Frankie
3 (McNeal) Miller; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Clark
4 (Larry), Geneva Starnes (Ron Noble), and Brenda Lence (Bob);
5 his brother and sister-in-law, John McNeal (Barbara); his
6 godson Jamie Miller; his many nieces, nephews and cousins; his
7 great friends Jim Miller, Pat and Linda Benton, Dennis Falmier,
8 J.D. Barter and Jerry Reach, who was also a great hunting and
9 fishing friend for over 30 years; therefore, be it
 
10     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
11 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
12 his family and friends, the death of Kenneth McNeal; and be it
13 further
 
14     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15 presented to the family of Kenneth McNeal as a symbol of our
16 sincere sympathy.
