    Amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Act of 1985. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning persons in need of mental treatment.

1     AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail
5 Technology Act of 1985 is amended by changing Section 4-8 as
6 follows:
 
7     (225 ILCS 410/4-8)  (from Ch. 111, par. 1704-8)
8     (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2016)
9     Sec. 4-8. Persons in need of mental treatment. The The
10 determination by a circuit court that a licensee is subject to
11 involuntary admission or judicial admission as provided in the
12 Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code operates as
13 an automatic suspension. Such suspension shall end only upon a
14 finding by a court that the patient is no longer subject to
15 involuntary admission or judicial admission and issues an order
16 so finding and discharging the patient; and upon the
17 recommendation of the Committee to the Director that the
18 licensee be allowed to resume his practice.
