Pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(b) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby veto House Bill 1888, entitled “AN ACT concerning regulation.” House Bill 1888 extends a program for the purchase of energy from existing qualified sold waste energy facilities that has not been cost effective for taxpayers.
For this reason, I hereby veto and return House Bill 1888.
