AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1330

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1330 as follows:
 
3 on page 6, lines 11 and 12, by deleting ", unless the context
4 otherwise requires"; and
 
5 on page 7, line 10, after "Code", by inserting ", unless the
6 context otherwise requires"; and
 
7 on page 12, line 8, by deleting ", unless the context otherwise
8 requires"; and
 
9 on page 12, immediately below line 25, by inserting the
10 following:
11     ""Serious health condition" means an illness, injury,
12 impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves
13 inpatient care in a hospital, hospice, or residential medical
14 care facility or continuing treatment by a health care

1 provider."; and
 
2 on page 14, lines 17 and 18, by deleting ", unless the context
3 otherwise requires"; and
 
4 on page 15, line 7, after "Code", by inserting ", unless the

6 on page 20, lines 3 and 4, by deleting ", unless the context
7 otherwise requires"; and
 
8 on page 21, line 3, after "Code", by inserting ", unless the
9 context otherwise requires"; and
 
10 on page 24, by replacing lines 16 and 17 with the following:
11 "districts shall review all existing policies to determine
12 which ones may act as a barrier to the enrollment,
13 reenrollment,"; and
 
14 on page 24, line 19, after "violence", by inserting the
15 following:
16 and shall revise those policies so that they no longer act as a
17 barrier to the enrollment, reenrollment, attendance, and
18 success in school of any youth who is a parent, expectant
19 parent, or victim of domestic or sexual violence"; and
