P.A. 95-734, Art. 17, Sec. 120

Amends "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-734. Increases certain appropriations to the Secretary of State from the Illinois Route 66 Heritage Project Fund. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-734, approved with items vetoed and reduced on July 9, 2008, is amended by changing Section 120 of Article 17 as follows:

    (P.A. 95-734, Art. 17, Sec. 120)

    Sec. 120. The amount of $95,000 $50,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Secretary of State from the Illinois Route 66 Heritage Project Fund to provide grants for the development of tourism, education, preservation and promotion of Route 66.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
