SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
In addition to any other amounts appropriated for this purpose, appropriates $25,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services to fund the performance-based contract model for residential service providers, including providers of residential treatment, group home care, independent living, and transitional living services. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to any other amounts appropriated for this purpose, the sum of $25,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services to fund the performance-based contract model for residential service providers, including providers of residential treatment, group home care, independent living, and transitional living services.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008
