Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Human Rights Commission for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007, as follows:

 

General Revenue Fund                 $1,805,800

Federal Funds                        $  100,000

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 5.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Human Rights Commission for the objects and purposes hereinafter enumerated:

GENERAL OFFICE

Payable from General Revenue Fund:

  For Personal Services.......................... 1,285,000

  For State Contributions to State

   Employees' Retirement System.................... 143,800

  For State Contributions to Social Security........ 98,500

  For Contractual Services......................... 172,500

  For Travel........................................ 25,000

  For Commodities.................................... 9,000

  For Printing...................................... 11,000

  For Equipment..................................... 15,000

  For Electronic Data Processing.................... 12,000

  For Telecommunications Services................... 34,000

    Total                                        $1,805,800

 

    Section 10.  The amount of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Special Projects Division Fund to the Human Rights Commission for costs associated with processing and adjudicating cases under Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development contracts.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
